Tenuta Sofia

Lorena & Francesco are wonderful hosts. They have created an oasis of calm in the countryside close to the coast and Otranto. My room with little garden was very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with delicious homemade pastries and good choice of savoury and sweet. I recommend hiring a bike for the day and exploring the coast and pineta. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in Otranto which is a beautiful coastal town. There are wonderful coves, caves and beaches to explore and swim from, in crystal clear water. I highly recommend the Salento area of Puglia and Tenuta Sofia is the ideal base to explore from. ThankYou for a wonderful few days!

We loved everything about the property. The staff, the food, the bedroom, the garden. Everything was wonderful. Lorena is such a nice person, super helpful and welcoming. She sent us a list of all the beautiful places to visit and gave us advices on what to see considering the weather each day. 100% recommend and will come back someday for sure!

We booked a last-minute stay here after a disappointing experience at another hotel, and we’re so glad we did! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful surroundings that made for a relaxing and quiet night. Our room was clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed, and we appreciated the added convenience of a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with love.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good Lorena gave us a lot of information about what anf where to see. We were only there for 2 nights, I wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back. The location was great and calm. accommodation in a very beautiful environment

We stayed at Tenuta Sofia for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. Highlights included the dinner at the Tenuta. The sea is only 5 min away – there's literally a dozen of beautiful beaches to choose from, and Lorena and Francesca will recommend you the best beach for the day based on the current weather and wind direction (!). Highly recommended also for families with kids!
