Bayshore RV Park & Guest Suites

This place is literally feet away from the bay and across the street from the Tokeland Hotel which has amazing food!

This is a definate work in progress. Bed was so uncomfortable, the room was cold and the tv was difficult to get any channel we wanted to watch. They had a coffee maker but no coffee.

We booked through campspot in June for end of July 2022 for a premier XL RV beach site. We honestly just needed a comfortable place to stay overnight continuing our journey along the coast. I called the office with no answer to inquire about late check in arrivals and procedures. We came at dusk on our reservation date. Come to find out, they did not have an overnight box with our reservation and that the owners/managers gave our site away. because all the beach front sites were taken. Imagine paying for first class views and getting front row seats to the latrine. The website photos and brochure map of the RV park are false. The sites really close together. It was so bad the kids playground was occupied by a large class A RV and there was no boundaries. We ended up occupying an empty RV site and had to ask our neighbors for the codes to the facilities. Facilities somewhat clean. I sent an email to the business with our concerns. No reply.

We stayed here in a 26' travel trailer in a space that backs up to the water. The view was amazing. Tony, the owner, is constantly working around the property. Our only complaint is that the spots are a little close together and one couple that came took as much room as they could which kind of boxed us in.

Never stayed here before, but would again. Owner was friendly and could tell he had really been working hard to fix it up. Bathrooms are old, but very clean. Was a good place to meet up with family and visit!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We watched it slowly deteriorate until 2019--when it was just a tired old RV Park, with a fabulous view.... New Owner purchased in 2020. We are so happy because he is really committed to restoring and improving this park. Great customer service. (Not just lip-service; this guy really cares.) Lots of new amenities. And lots of repairs already completed.

The owner is either high or drunk. My power didn’t work mos of the time. I went to dump sewage and it was overflowing and he also gave my reservation to someone else. I stayed 57 days before this new owner took ownership he’s a used car salesman

We have been visiting the Bayshore RV park for years. The park is under new ownership in 2020. Lots of repairs and upgrades being done. We visited in September 2020. Wish the bathrooms were open, but other than that, the park is great.

We have stayed at this park every year for about the last 12 years, and it is in a really nice location, but it has deteriorated over the years, and we really had to decide whether or not to stay again this year. We made reservations anyway, and then discovered that we had to cancel in order to help an ill relative back east. We asked for a refund and were told that since we didn't give a month's notice, but only two weeks, we had to forfeit $50. I guess that settles it for us - we won't be going back.

New owners don't care about customer service. Checked in and right outside the office door they are restoring a car. Left equipment running while I was checking in. Very difficult to hear. Found out a few days later that they are a Good Sam Park. No Good Sam signs anywhere on premise. Went to office to inquiry and was told they don't ask if you are a Good Sam member. Also cable tv didn't work at our site. Her response was, "well, we had people in that spot last week and had no complaints." Had to run cable to next site in order to get tv. They were not interested in solving the problem. Very poorly kept up. Weeds around picnic tables and fire pits. Never returning. VERY POORLY RUN AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

For $40 a night I would think it would be a nicer park. Very dumpy. The park at the docks looked nicer and was much cheaper, found out too late. Would have stayed a few days but only stayed one because there is not much a view and you get a page long list of things you cannot do!! Poorly set up. Looks much nicer on google earth!!
