Tropical Paradise

This is a very nice place to stay. As of 2023 everything is very new and top notch. Very well equipped with kitchen, nice pool in the back with everything you need for a nice time (bbq, bar, hanging bed, etc,). Wi-Fi, flat screen TV in every room, and specious comfortable living places, plenty of place to hang out. Close to the airport and the free way. I definitely recommend this place.

This is NOT a HOTEL. It's a stand alone family home. It might be surprising first BUT it's actually better than a hotel.

We could use the kitchen, the living room, the pool. Other guest came in, but did not use the common areas that much. This was a good place to start to explore the national parks.

We usually like to meet the owners/caretakers. When we checked in, no one was there, but we met the caretaker in the morning, which was great. Very welcoming and helpful.

Great Communication. Straightforward directions. Friendly host Rene Carrasco - made sure we felt that we can always call on him to help us with anything. He even left us ice cold beer in the ice chest by the pool. So generous! The kitchen appliances worked well. The location of the property was great for what we needed it for. The pool was a good size and was clean. Pool toys available. The neighborhood is quiet, which meant we all had a relaxed stay.

The grill only uses charcoal which is a pain to clean so we didn't use it. Electric grill would have been more useful, less mess, less smoke too. The sliding screen door to the backyard needs replacing. Could have used few more pans, a kettle for heating water for tea (but there's a microwave too). We wanted to swim at night but the pool isn't heated. That could be an improvement that would be appreciated!

AC broken on day of our stay, was being attended to straight away but unable to fix till next day, was very hot, difficult to sleep but these things happen.
