The renovation work that had been done was wonderful to behold. The period piece furnature and accompanying artwork were equally as nice. The flowers that Bobby had in our room for my wife's birthday were perfect.

Nice place, pretty setting and grounds. Location is great and close to historic downtown.

Location was very convenient. The initial tour by Don was great. The first floor of the Mansion was beautiful. We really enjoyed our night there and the few items we mentioned below would not preclude us from staying here again or recommending it to others.

Some type of morning breakfast (even continental) would have been nice. I thought I read that a voucher might be provided to have breakfast at a local restaurant, we did not receive one. There were two stains on the bedding of one of the beds, one on the sheets and one on the comforter. We were told we could use the refrigerator in the kitchen, but it had a food tray (cheese and vegetables) that was spoiled (it looked like it had been there quite some time). The small refrigerator on the second floor was also not very clean.

The location is prime, the whole house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, & well preserved. We loved exploring around the house. The beds are particularly comfy. Parking was easy to find, overall very wonderful experience.

Not a lot of outlet in the room/near the bed. (We had to unplug the fan to charge our tech)
