The host, Vince, was extremely accommodating, and followed through on everything that he stated he would. The access codes to the property and room were sent promptly, and correctly. It was easy to get in with the stated codes. The room was clean, quiet, and I felt secure in the space. The bathroom was well appointed, and the elements in it were new, or very nearly new. Everything worked! A good sized TV. Wall mounted, with streaming content in my room, which had easy to navigate controls. The Samsung clothes washing, and drying machine, on the floor are virtually NEW, and very clean. -Clothes washing pods are provided. There is a kitchen downstairs, at the entry level. Again, very well appointed. ( I was a bit surprised to find REAL fresh-cut flowers on the kitchen table! ) I can easily recommend this property, and the very efficient, and gentlemanly host. I've stayed in hotels all over the United States... roadside, high-end, and everything in between... This place was refreshing! A good deal... Thanks, Vince! -Bryan in Seattle

Upper Queen Anne area of Seattle is known for safety and quietness. Many local stores on the main street of Queen Anne (Queen Anne Ave N) and some side streets for shopping and dining, about 20 min walk or a few bus stops uphill from the property. Weekly farmer's market during certain time of year. Seattle's wonderful transportation system eliminated my need for a car. In terms of walkability, keep in mind that Seattle is a city with hills, good for cardio workout simply by walking. The property is modern, simple yet with all basic (and some not-so-basic) needs covered. Other than scuff marks along staircase from guests' suitcases bumping against walls over time, property is very well maintained. There's definitely a Star War theme, not just common kitchen/eating area but also inside room. Attention to details by owner as well as housekeeper is very evident upon entry into the room, from cleanliness of surface and bedding, to convenience of refrigerator and Nespresso coffee maker with pods and bathroom necessities, to little theme decorations. The mattress is super comfortable! The owner of the property (Vince), kept in contact with me from time of reservation through my stay. I received email reminder for my stay, and detailed instruction to my room. During my stay, if there was ever any need/question/comment, Vince was extremely timely in response to both emails and texts. He even created a detailed electronic guidebook for guests, informative and fun to read.

The bed was very comfortable, it was very clean, just what we needed for a short stay and a great neighborhood.

We had trouble with the door the first night, but I believe that was user error! And the owner was incredibly helpful and so readily available.

At the beginning, I was skeptical: no reviews on Booking.com, the deposit for potential damages was too high, and the payment wasn't through Booking.com but another website. In the end, the owner and I agreed on a lower rate since I was only staying for two nights. The room was clean, fairly new, and everything was fine. Access to the accommodation and the room is via a code, and it was completely hassle-free. I highly recommend both the accommodation and the owner; he was always available and kept me well-informed.
