"Access to local native cultural activities, and right on the beach"

10.0

First time visitor during the off-season. We picked their small cabins - they are small, but excellent for a good night's sleep and access to the dramatic ocean beach. We will definitely stay there again but maybe try a larger accommodation,

"An extra special place for a getaway."

This is our favorite destination when we want to go somewhere extra special. The rooms are excellent. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. The views are amazing and there are several hikes in the area that we thoroughly enjoy.

"Dramatic crashing waves right out your window"

10.0

We've been going here for years and it's wonderful. We always go on my husband's birthday in March even though it's usually not that warm or sunny. We like the second floor of the hotel where you can stay in the warmth of our room, or go out on the balcony if it's not stormy, and watch the drama of the crashing waves. The cost of the hotel is way less then what you'd pay in resorts in Oregon. There's not a lot of restaurants unless you drive to Forks, but there's a great little kitchen in each room, so we just bring our own food, which works fine.

"Seem to have gotten to big for their britches"

2.0

Tried to make an rv reservation. Took my deposit but never sent a conformation #. When I called to make sure it went through and see what site was reserved they said the assign the spot when you get there. What's the point in calling in a reservation then. With a 41' rig I am not going to take a chance to drive all the way there only to find all the spots that we would fit in are full. What a load of crap. Been going there for years,,,not any more. I am happy to put the word out in the rv world stay away from these jokers

"Ideal romantic winter getaway for nature lovers & Indigenous art fans. Budget options & fancier options galore."

10.0

I cant say enough positive things about this place. The room was only $80 for two people for two nights since it was off-season (!!). The cabins are right on the beach, with some of the big ones having direct beach views. You walk like 400 ft from the basic cabin we got and you're on the beach, which is a stunningly beautiful one even more beautiful than Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. So much to do in the surrounding areas Lots of food and coffee options on-site Dog friendly :) The check in was quick and easy. The staff here are AWESOME. And don't miss the gorgeous Native Northwest items in the gift shop. Each room also comes with a copy of the book Our Land to read which is a tribal publication with so much interesting detail about the history, language and culture of the people This is a MUST SEE for appreciators of Coastal PNW Native art Take care to read policies on photos, dogs, weed, etc to be respectful and lawful here Also isnt it nice to know your vacation money is going to the Quileute Nation?

"You pay, plenty, for the location, but it is really beautiful."

8.0

i've been going out here at least every other year for 40 years, so obviously I love the location. All the beautiful photos are true, and underlay the positive comments about the lodging. The various motel rooms and cabins are all nice but hardly "luxury" and maintenance is a bit spotty. A hole in the floor of one cabin and toilet not flushing in one cabin. Half the electric heaters not working in another. Ceiling bulbs burned out in a third cabin... and still burned out a year later. There used to be a price sheet for each cabin, and when you reserved online you got a map and could pick a particular unit; this was valuable as they are very idiosyncratic, some with better views and layouts than others. Now you just reserve a class of lodging. Even in 2025, I was not given the unit I had reserved. And if you drill down, you can see that the rate varies every day, by a lot. Is this some form of algorithmic pricing? Additionally it has gotten quite expensive by my standards, such as $600/day summer midweek for a motel room with microwave, range, and mini fridge. They even charge 3% "service" to recoup their credit card fees. Note that the $600 is before 16% additional fees and tribal tax. No housekeeping either. Still, many months out it looks like they are booking up for the summer so people will pay and who faults the tribe for taking their money. I am glad I fell in love with the place when you could get a room with an ocean view for $60 (OK that was decades ago). At least I can come in the off season now, when I can afford it. Phone coverage is marginal at best. Wifi is limited to an outdoor common area, which is fine when it is not raining. They make it sound like it is a deliberate choice to limit wifi to enrich your experience but let's be real - you need the wifi even if all you care about is the weather forecast! The kitchens are generally adequate though the pots are a bit random. This time I had to do some minor repairs to get two of the electric range burners to heat. The people in the laundry are pretty good about swapping out towels and giving you incidentals. It is usually quite quiet at night, except around 4 July when there's a lot of locally sold fireworks going off on the beach, or when there is a wedding in the middle of the grounds with dance music till midnight (fortunately that happened only once). There are very unfriendly cancellation fees - read the fine print - but if you know you want to go, reserve early as they fill up for summer dates months in advance (except the motels, which often have last minute availability).

"Perfect Quiet Escape from Holiday Crazy"

10.0

My absolute favorite place. I chose to come here during the holidays to escape the noise and to find peace in a difficult time. I brought my two dogs and the king room was just perfect. Opening the sliding glass door all you can feel is the ocean breeze, sounds of the pacific emotional waves, the sweet scent of the sea. One afternoon, the dogs and I sat on the deck simply bathing in the beauty of Quileute. It sincerely, all I wanted for Christmas.

"Amazing location, disappointing venue that does not live up to the price."

4.0

I spent $256 for an incredibly disappointing experience that left me freezing and sad. I booked a cabin with a fireplace and a bathtub with a view and ended up getting neither. The cabin I booked ended up having a broken fireplace. They put me in a different cabin with a smaller bathtub without a view. The tub wasnโ€™t worth it. The water barely came out of the faucet so it took 30 minutes for the tub to fill up to where I could use the jets and by the time the water filled up the water was lukewarm. The place was freezing and I couldnโ€™t get the temp up past 60 F even with the fireplace. For spending the amount I did for a single night I thought I was going to have an amazing time. Instead I was freezing and felt ripped off. Amazing location, disappointing venue.

"Used to be better"

8.0

It was supposed to be our joint birthday celebration: three nights in the luxury cabin culminating in the Reservation's weekly Wednesday drum circle up the road, where ceremonial leaders would acknowledge our birthdays. Fortunately we drove to the drum circle building Wednesday afternoon so we would know where to find it after dark, only to be told by the maintenance workers that the event was canceled this week - something the desk clerk who gave us directions hadn't been told. Huge disappointment, but at least we didn't show up that night ready to rejoice. The staff at the Resort are courteous and helpful. The views are magnificent. But we had other letdowns: We had looked forward to frothy hot baths in the tub overlooking the ocean, but the jets didn't work. We had looked forward to reading our books by the gas fireplace, but it was not functioning, and the room lighting was woefully dim. So I wrapped myself in a blanket and read by the light of my headlamp. At least the place is clean, and nearby trails and beaches in Olympic National Park are fabulous, even in the rain.
