"Fantastic waitstaff"

8.0

The rooms are falling apart but the servers and bartenders are amazing. The rooms only have coffee teabags (gross) and there is no coffee in the lobby until 8:30am! At least put a keurig in the lobby! Sinks were leaking all over the counter, blinds didn’t work. The rooms were a bit dirty, we actually questioned if they had even been cleaned. The property seems to have gone a down hill since my previous visit 10 years ago but the view is still amazing. The bar menu is a bummer, they are selling on the rocks brand premixed cocktails for quadruple the price of the grocery store. Food is decent but overpriced like everything else. All of the waitstaff and the bartender were absolutely amazing and so friendly, upbeat, and personable, especially Eneida!

"Horrible service, not felixble, food overpriced"

2.0

We use to go here all the time when it was Cave B Inn and since they sold it the place has gone downhill. They didn't even have everything on their lunch menu (which, by the way there are only 5 items listed). There were a million fruit flies in our room and the place hasn't been dusted in months. The pizza was a joke, ordered a mushroom and there was literally one mushroom on it (see picture!), the description said there were 4 kinds of mushrooms. Then the power went out and the management lied and told us the whole Grant county had no power which was a total lie. There were no emergency lighting which is required by OSHA so we had to walk around in the dark. Management was so rude about giving us a credit when we had to leave for a family emergency. I've been trying to get a hold of their manager, Pearlie, but she is refusing to return my call. The pool is not maintained, bugs floating everywhere, dirt all over the floors and the pond's drain was messed up so all you heard at the pool was a LOUD noise. Plus, the bed is so old it creaked and bounced like the springs were broken. Do not go here, save your money and stay in Quincy. The Cave B Winery is AMAZING and so is there wine. Freddy is #1

"A/C loud"

6.0

Let me start out by saying. The resort is beautiful and we had wonderful service and meals at the restaurant.Kevin at the pool was so attentive and had a great personality. We stayed in Cavern Room(25) and the A/C unit made the loudest noise. When I told front desk a few times. They said they would have maintenance look into it.Nothing was done.We had to shut it off.Too be able sleep.

"Needs some attention"

6.0

There are some things about this resort that would rate a 5. The main building is beautiful, the views are jaw dropping, and the upgrade to the restaurant and bar added a lot. Upon entering our cavern room, we were initially very pleased. But taking a closer look, it really needs some attention. There were things that were actually kind of janky. For instance, the toilet paper holder had been switched out, put the brackets for the old one were just left in the wall. The tile outside of the shower were left without trim and were sharp and jagged, cutting my toe. There were a number of other things too that just don’t match with the level that Sagecliffe wants to be (and should be). On the positive, staff was great. And of course, the views just can’t be beat.
