UMET Seaview Hotel with Free Airport Pick up and Drop T&C Apply

The staffs has been very welcoming, and the location its suitable for all accomodities you need for Nale city.

There was not a single channel with the TV, except YouTube which you don't need , can have it in your phone, specially within these days worldcup matches, the reason was its not working for whole Male,but in the night you have front of the hotel a geant screen where they were diffusing all the matches for public.for the price you pay I would say could be a solution for your guests who wants watch that event. Instead of joining public area standing for some hours. As well for 2 nights, my room has not been done the cleaning, even the tag has been placed in the door the whole day.

We stayed here for a night just to be on time for airport for flight back home, and to avoid any delay of transfer on boat from our resort in Ulhuveli to airport. The hotel is small cosy one for such an stay. Our request for two rooms near each other was accepted as we were travelling with kids. There are nice hotels and grocery shops nearby. A simple breakfast was very well served

One room was given seaview while other room was not given seaview. Getting taxi from the hotel was difficult due to busy road.

Rooms were a little small

The room was very clean and the initial welcome from Reception was lovely. Complimentary water was a nice touch. But...

100% overpriced. Very disappointed. First, the free Airport transfer: We arriived at night abd waited for 15 minutes at the unmanned counter they told us to go to -- and then when we finally found a number and called them, they took 15 more minutes to arrive, and the guy took his time walking up to us, typing on his phone. Didn't even apologise. Second: the photos are deceiving. The "Deluxe Suite" is a joke: tiny and cramped. The space around the bed is so small that you have to walk sideways to get anywhere. The bathroom is badly designed and also cramped, and the lighting abysmal. Oh, except the air-con is lit up like a stadium, so there's that. And the bed itself is for hobbits. We are both short people, and my husband's feet were hanging off the edge. Third, the room was meant to have a Sea View -- but what they don't tell you is that you're on a noisy main road, overlooking buildings, etc. The sea is in the distance, or, if you hang over the miniscule balcony and look to the left, you'll see the industrial "beach" nearby. Lastly, their response when i phoned Reception to ask for a toilet roll. (All they'd given us was half a small roll. We'd arrived late and had to get up early for our flight -- and I didn't want to bother anyone at 4am in the event we needed more loo paper.) The receptionist abruptly told me Housekeeping has gone home, so "Is it urgent?" I was so taken aback, I almost replied: "No, not urgent... yet. Shall I call you from the toilet seat at 4am instead??" Honestly. Unacceptable. NOT recommended.

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to Viddya, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and always willing to assist us.

The airport transfer service was poorly organized. Although we had booked a King Room, we had to travel together with the luggage in the transfer vehicle, which was uncomfortable and disappointing. In addition, the bed sheets in our room were not clean, and some parts of the room, especially the balcony, showed signs of mold. Overall, the quality of the room and service did not match the price we paid.

Excellent service from the transfer and reception staff. The receptionists were genuinely friendly, upgraded our room for free, and shared a lot of useful information about the city and surrounding area.

The sea view is mediocre. The surroundings, including the hotel entrance, are uncomfortable. However, this is practically the case in Male. The public beach is dirty, in a rotten, artificial backwater, and not suitable for normal swimming.

No hot water but i didn't mind because it was so hot outside...
