"Adequate. Comfortable."

A grab bar in the tub/shower would be good and easy to install. The furniture was extremely cheap and almost falling apart even though obviously new; i.e. bedside tables. Felt like I had to wash the dishes before using them. Extremely overpriced due to the Norwegian Festival going on in the town. I booked 2 nights, each night at different times and paid $ 200 more for the 2nd night. Be sure to invest in pest control. Killed a big predator spider on the bathroom.

"Highly recommend for a stay in Decorah."

This is a unique and comfortable property in a beautiful location. The bed and bed linens are outstanding and the unit was easily accessible.

It would have been nice to have additional lighting options (lamps) instead of the one overhead light. Also felt like the towels were not of the same quality as the bedding. However, there were enough towels for two people.

"Nice, new place to stay."

Nice property. Especially love that it's surrounded in plants & gardens. The vision of the owners is really cool-- to return the area back to nature, using only native plant species. Certainly would be a beautiful place to return to in spring & summer!

It seemed quite expensive for 1 night.

"Clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay."

The location was good. I enjoyed the garden areas and paths. The complex is unique and very quiet. My room was very simply appointed and the additional ammenities were also simple. A very nice hotel room. There looks to be other experiences coming (hot tub and sauna) that would make this a truely unique place to stay.

Not enough lighting in my Unit. There was one very tiny lamp available in addition to the overhead, very bright, lights. It was impossible to read comfortably in bed or in the chairs. I hesitated answering the property met expectation question. It felt like a hotel stay and not an experience.
