Bluffside Gardens

We loved this quaint location and the privacy of the individual cabins! They had all the necessities and a rustic vibe with a great location to everything in Decorah. The place was new and had comfortable beds and furniture. My only suggestion is work on the cleanliness (fingerprints were all over everything that's used a lot so it made it seem like counters and such were also probably not wiped down, hair in the shower, dishes and counter had a lot of dust, and some stains on main wall areas and furniture). I wiped everything down myself and rewashed any dishes before using and would definitely still stay again due to the privacy.

We were all in Decorah for a college graduation and a birthday celebration. We stayed at Bluffside Gardens and it was amazing. The property is beautiful with native flowers and the way the buildings are arranged makes it very attractive. The units are decorated simply, but have everything you could need. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. We only stayed one night, but loved sitting outside in the morning with the Keurig machine and having coffee and visiting. The area of Decorah has so many things to do, and this property would be a great place to base out of. We will stay here again! Bluffside Gardens is a great addition to the lodging options in the Decorah area.

Nice, clean has everything you need for your stay. Kitchenette is nice if you dont want to go out, grills to use and a nice fire pit to enjoy the evening. Owner is a great guy even gave us some insider fishing information! Definitely will be back, hopefully with our whole family.

It was easy access and easy to locate! The place was beautiful and the beds were super comfy!

Great to see deer each day. A bit more furniture than last time, which was nice. Still could use a dresser or a place for clothes to be put away. Staff was very responsive to a couple minor issues.

Rooms are very spacious. Check in-out was very easy. Love the layout and the vision of the property. Hope to check it out again in the future.

I loved the style of the "hotel", the area, and the beds and pillows. We were able to jump on the Trout Run Trail from our rooms. I loved the patio area as well. We were able to see plenty of deer walk through. The area was quiet and plenty of parking.

Some of the table stands had drawers that would fall off. The door's wood frame was wilting. Our coffee machine didn't work, so we used the one in our second room. That one still had an old coffee filter in it. Lastly, some of the construction is still going on, so not everything was completed on the patios.
