The property doesnt live up to the mark of luxury stays, the rooms are average, the washrooms have leaks, and swimming pool isnt functional, doesnt justify the pricing of this place, there are several other places that offer stay with immense outdoor space etc within 2.5K in that region. not worth it, also wifi is too slow and you dont get phone signal there as well.
ININININWe like the ambience and we enjoyed in swimming pool. Food taste was worth and good. Food service also good.
Not worth the cost. Tv and other kits are not available in the room. Staff service was too poor. Even we need to take the water from kitchen they are not available to provide. No helpdesk in the room. AC is not working properly. And mainly frequent power cut occured. Wifi not working continuously. Poor network. Location is not safe at night time. Totally waste of money.
INIt's access to auroville was it's only benefit. The breakfast was simple but good.
The swimming pool had broken sharp tiles on the floor and my husband and sister both suffered cuts in the foot and bled badly. The management took no responsibility and kept allowing people to swim without even warning them or closing the pool after the incident.
DELahe is perfectly located to explore Auroville and is a calm and beautiful place with pretty rooms and a nice pool. It is very clean and run by very friendly and helpful staff. We overall enjoyed the stay very much. A few things to consider: the deluxe suite we booked does NOT have a separate living room, it is one room, that description should be corrected. There is no fridge and they have very limited selection of food and drinks.
