"Comfy cabins near Shasta"

8.0

A nice, comfortable and conveniently located motel near Lake Shasta. Room to park a truck with boat in front of cabin and outside electrical. Beds are a bit worn but not horrible. It was clean and cozy.

Arrived after dark and missed the entrance due to no lighted sign. Self check in, had to call a manager to get in my room. Room wasn’t “rustic” it was old and dirty. The blind on the window had broken slats. The caulking in the bathroom looked like a child did it. Heater was hard to control; either too hot or too cold. I would not recommend anyone stay here. Keep driving.

"Nice And Cozy"

Cozy room and kitchen. Plenty warm. Beds were nice. Just needed one extra full bath towel in bathroom (there was only a single towel).

The ruin itself was ok, clean and comfy. The bathroom left A LOT to be desired. Small toilet, very small shower and short non adjustable shower head.

The room was very clean and smelled nice when I arrived. Particularly liked the abundance of coffee pods provided, especially since staff was scarce. I also liked the one touch check in, but at the same time could have seemed like a lack of staff. I don't know if this is part of being conditioned to associate staff and hotel check in process. Again, it also was in line with the "mountainy" get away feel that was definitely a theme. The scenery was relaxing and majestic.
