The proprietor did not know he had guests staying with them. When I called he was surprised . First it is not what is advertised in the Expedia website. The location requires a 4x4, not a little truck, a Jeep Wrangler to get to it. The road to the location is not paved at all. It is all rocks, dirt, ruts on the ground and its location is high in the mountain, with gully’s and embankments to the jungle which could not be accessed by another vehicle (fire truck, ambulance or rescue). The proprietor lives on property and he showed us the outdoor kitchen, a water cooler with mold on it, there is no potable water. The pool was green. When we managed to get the room number he said it is upstairs, we went to the room to find not one but 2 beds. The room had no AC, and the windows opened to the outside with no screens, if you been to PR you know there are mosquitos in the island all the time, specially at night. We noticed that through the place (can’t call it a hotel, bed and breakfast or spa) there were pornographic Kama sutra pictures in the walls as decor. Downstairs and upstairs. This location does not include AC, food of any kind, definitely not breakfast made to order as they advertised in the Expedia website, no potable water, no electricity to power a fan, or charge your phones, no WiFi or cell signal. The proprietor mentioned he had a stroke and that his son lives in Florida and he is in charge of the bookings. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Unfortunately we wore not able to access the property as there is a erosion on the road going up the steep hill that goes to the property, is extremely difficult and unsafe ,owner won't even answer the phone for any assistance,we had to find another hotel to stay last minute and our rental car got a flat tire afterwards due to horrible road,it would be pretty much impossible to be able to get in or out of the property at night, this facility should not be open to public

The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience.

"Worst experience I‘ve had so far with any Hotel."

We tried to access the property which we had reserved and paid for for more than one hour. We arrived at 7 PM. No staff available for check in after 6PM, which is not indicated in the reservation confirmation, only in the general terms. These also indicate we should have received e-mail instructions 72h before for late arrival. No such email received. The phone number went straight to voice mail and no one called back. When we tried to find someone on the property, we only found a guard dog, which threatened us and was walking around unrestrained. All of this in a very remote place with barely drivable roads and almost no phone signal. Had to find another Hotel that night. No apologies or refund, and, I am disappointed to say, so far no meaningful support of Hotels.com either. This is ridiculous and basically cheating people out of money.
