Red Flamboyan Guesthouse and Restaurant

Evverything was above and beyond expectations

No toilet paper upon arrival. Dead fly on the windowsill. Mouse turd on floor PR electric was out as was property Generator so no a/c and couldn't open windows so stifflely hot Unbearable. No staff to contact. We were out very early the next morning. Aside from that, no place to put luggage. Not even a foldout luggage rack. No table, desk or surface to place items. No books, pamphlets for local info. Rating. DONT STAY HERE.

The room was very very clean but the location is far from town. Shower worked very well and had excellent pressure. Bed was very comfortable. It is walking distance to a couple of restaurants or food trucks. It was quiet, safe, and somewhat secluded.

The $40 cleaning fee for 1 night. Also I thought the price should have been closer to $100, $150 would be OK but with the cleaning fee it was way overpriced. No other guest houses or hotels charged a cleaning fee during my stay in Puerto Rico. The location is far from town and far from a swimming beach. It is close to restaurants and a surfing beach. There was no filtered water available. I don't like using plastic every time I drink water. Need a car to get around. I didn't like the nearby restaurants. Prefer restaurants in town.

The Red Flamboyan is an impeccably well run little hotel, with only eight rooms, associated with the restaurant of the same name. This is our second time staying here and we were again very happy with our choice. They've added a pool and expanded the parking lot since our last visit. The hotel is a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk from the beach. We will stay here again.

Out of town, with a great view. Very good restaurant.
