Khabita Beach Resort

Wow! This was the holiday of a lifetime. We were so happy we found this untouched, beautiful little spot. Khabita is amazing! From the food, lodges to the food, you can’t go wrong. Snorkel trips were the highlight - turtles, blue coral, thousands of fish and rarely another sole! The hospitality was amazing, and we really were treated like family. This place will hold a special place in my heart for years to come.

Ahhh, Khabita.. As cheesy as the omnipresent "Arrive like a guest, leave like family" slogan may sound - this is where you'll feel it. I had opted for a homestay first because I am not the "resort" type of guy, but then came to check out Khabita for 1 night after all. And left after 10 days! Michael, Lia, and Aris are so incredibly friendly and welcoming and really take you in like a new member of the family from the very first moment. Their place isn't just a business for them, they genuinely want you to feel at home, and that makes all the difference. I've booked a tent but they were so kind to put me into a little backpacker room instead for the whole time. This is a wonderful place for whatever you are seeking for. Want to be active and go snorkeling? Corals are not even a minute's swim away. Want to lie in the sun and relax? This is about the only establishment on the island that really frees its private beach from plastic, twice a day. If you want to unwind and disconnect, they've got you covered with lots of space, hammocks and a calm environment surrounded by nature. Need to do some work? Wifi worked out great most of the time and the bar has tables and plugs available. Want to socialize? Well, fingers crossed that more travelers will discover this little gem soon, but when they do, they are well prepared with their self-built bar. I've had a wonderful stay there and hope I can come back soon!

The hosts Michael and his wife Liah and their staff where great. They made me feel like part of the family as soon as I arrived. It's also the best place on the island to have a reasonably priced drink in the evening and watch the sunset, I don't believe you can do that from any other resort on the Island? Also they are very helpful in booking local Island trips and onward travel. Whilst there, work on a the new Sunset bar and hostel commenced so I look forward to returning to enjoy them in the future. I'm also looking forward to hiring their new kayaks they have on order to do independent tours of the nearby Gilis/Islands, that will be amazing! 😎

This was the perfect place to relax and escape. The hosts were amazing, so helpful with everything. The food tasted amazing especially the fresh grilled fish. I will be coming back.

If you want a fantastic time in a tropical paradise, this is where you need to be. Michael and Lia are fantastic hosts, and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and more. The bungalows are large, clean, and have comfortable beds. The food is plentiful and tasty, prepared onsite by Lia and the local staff. The sea is just three steps from the bungalow door, and offers an underwater garden of life and colour. We will be back!

The accommodation is great! We just arrived and were welcomed like „feel like it’s your home; this is our kitchen“. In fact there was no need for us to use the kitchen, because the staff is so attentive to fulfilled our wishes immediately. Every one is very friendly and everything is clean. We extended after one day for another 2 nights and were sad when we got along our trip, because we missed this place and it’s people.

The accommodation was great at all! Sadly me and my mum were to lazy to do a great snorkeling trip. Now I know that we had should spend a lot more time to explore these beautiful snorkeling places at the island and the islands around.

Very nice and cozy place. The bungalows are big and very natural (we have the impression that we are outside with the sounds of the birds/waves), we loved the protected outdoor shower. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very nice and helped us organize our snorkeling tour. The beach is nice with nobody just be careful for the sea urchin.

No mosquito net, but if you ask one they give one to you !

The property was in a peaceful island and had a beautiful view of the sunset! There was a large and well maintained pool, great outdoor seating for meals, and space to hang out and enjoy the view!

There wasn’t any air conditioning on the property so it did get quite hot during the day.

We felt very warmly welcomed by Aris and the Staff at khabita and got told to feel like home which we did right away. They have a well organised kitchen and pantry which we could use. Also they have and a little paddle boat, so we were able to set out for our own adventures on the surrounding islands which offer some amazing coral reefs. The beach right in front of the Bungalows is also worth a snorkel. We initially planned to stay a night and ended up staying 5 cause be enjoyed it so much.
