Dorinda Rooms

The Dorinda Rooms are perfectly placed in the center of the old town. Just a short walk to the beach and almost every good bar, tapas and restaurant in Alicante. The room was spotlessly clean and immaculately furnished. All the facilities are of the highest standard with large modern shower, bowl sink and multi-flush toilet. I stayed in room 202 which had double French doors opening out onto two separate small balconies. One of the balconies had two metal chair facing one another and lift-up drinks table attached to the outer edge of the balcony. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with a drink before bed listening to the sound of the city but was glad of the double glazing when inside as without that, the sound would probably disturb all but the soundest sleepers. Fortunately even with the windows closed the modern AC unit means the room is temperature controlled and on the slower settings the unit made very little noise.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The next time I'm going to Alicante I will try and book the Dorinda Rooms again. The place is immaculate.

location, friendliness of the owner, locker where you can keep your bags before check in/after check out. spacious room with nice bathroom, balcony with seating we really liked.

the noise in the evening from the bars aroun or morning bells ringing from the church next doors, but we did not mind and were okay with that :)
