"I had a pleasant, relaxing short stay in a basic property which met and exceeded my expectations."

Just a 1-night stay while traveling. Needed something basic and didn't expect fancy extras. Price was very reasonable. I knew it was an older building/property, but it was in good condition. Bed new and very comfortable. Everything spotless and clean. Owner/manager polite and pleasant. Small in-room coffee-maker was appreciated. Overall, I was positively impressed and would recommend the property.

Only (minor) negatives were in the bathroom: no stopper in the sink made shaving with a blade a bit more challenging, but I improvised successfully. Water control knob in the shower was loose (no hot water at first), but got it going OK and had plenty of hot water for my shower. These were MINOR inconveniences and would not keep me from choosing this property again if I am in the area.

Clean room and welcoming staff. Microwave and fridge in the room was very convenient. Other amenities were useful as well. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Would stay again in future!
