Urban Cowboy Lodge

Pros, At night time the lodge looks warm and cozy. Great ambient. The food in the restaurant was really nice. All in all we had a good time. Cons, The hotel is 3 years old, but based on an old hotel from the 30s so it's quite unkempt and entering our Alpine building with the moldy, smelly carpet was not welcoming... The roads... need some TLC. The room was nice but for $400 a night you would expect some better hospitality, like a courtesy of bottle of water, everything was So basic... Not a good marketing. When we arrived we were welcome in a nicely manner... I would hope that people can be much more authentic than their act. Unfortunately we didn't get the right info and stuck with no Wi-Fi for very long time. Lastly, Even though we made reservation through hotels and in the print it's being ashored all fees are included in the price, in practice the resort will charge you extra fees on spot. It is not upscale hotel, but it was an interesting experience.

The bartender was so rude the entire trip. We asked her what the bar food consisted of and she just kept repeating "regular bar food" with an attitude. When you get there, you get a complimentary bubbles or bourbon, we got the bourbon and asked if she can put a splash of cranberry or any juice in it and she refused and said the drink can only be given straight. She had a very standoff attitude and other guest told us of other incidents they had with her making fun of them and telling them the drinks are all premade so she can make it custom but it won't taste any good. Not sure if I've ever seen anything like it tbh. She should definitely not be behind a bar in a social setting. Besides that everything was ok, the entertainment needs improvement, there's not much to do.

Pet friendly , quiet place to relax and amazing view.

To me, and I believe many others, coffee is high on the list of expectations when staying anywhere, high end or low end. I have a hard time figuring this out. If its not doable to have machines in rooms..then at least have fresh coffee available in a communal area in every building. The thermos coffee was not hot, and really bad.. Everything else was amazing here. The music trivia was a blast, The staff, the bar, the food, and the location. It really is a spectacular place..please fix the coffee

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It’s peaceful, nobody bothers you. Yet staff is available at all times. The food is delicious and the drinks were nice! My favorite part was the sauna! Def worth it!

It was an amazing experience, staff are very friendly and helpful.. definitely will do it again 👍
