Anisa Mekong Riverside Villa

Am stat la Ammata trei nopți și am fost foarte mulțumit de împrejurimile liniștite, camerele curate și personalul extrem de prietenos. Cu toate acestea, selecția pentru micul dejun era puțin limitată și nu varia prea mult. Ar fi fost și mai bine dacă ar fi existat mai multe opțiuni.

Când am deschis perdelele pentru a admira răsăritul de soare de pe malul râului, m-am simțit ca și cum m-aș fi trezit într-un tablou. Camera era amenajată frumos — un mic spațiu de lucru, un fotoliu confortabil, o baie elegantă cu prosoape mari și pufoase. Grădina vilei avea mese peste tot, perfecte pentru relaxare și lectură în aer liber. Personalul mi-a recomandat chiar și un local legendar din apropiere unde se servește salată de papaya — încă visez la ea lol 😅. Per total, un sejur impecabil, 10/10.

80% sava laika pavadīju basām kājām uz upes krasta terases. Rīti: kafija + migla. Dienas: lasīšana + augļu šķīvji. Naktis: vīns + zvaigznāji. Istaba bija ērta, bet terase? Tur mīt maģija. Atkarība ir reāla.

I reached the by tuk-tuk. Check-in was swift, with staff explaining local markets and boat tours. My private bathroom gleamed, and the linens smelled freshly laundered. Nice view. Excellent location steps from Wat Xieng Thong.

TV offered no English channels.

Lulled to sleep by the gentle river breeze, I barely noticed the sounds of passing boats. The villa’s communal seating area is perfect for chatting with fellow guests over local beers. My only nitpick: curtains didn’t block all light, making very early mornings a little bright. No big deal when you’ve got such a picturesque wake-up call. Fantastic value.

I stayed here for four nights and loved having free Wi-Fi to research day trips. Rooms felt private, with patios that opened onto the garden. While there’s no restaurant on premises, the night market two blocks away serves incredible Lao barbecue. Staff pointed me to their favorite stall and the villa’s price still beats any riverside hotel nearby.
