We were totally disappointed reaching the VENUS APARTMENT KIGALI due to the following reasons: 1. The area is far away from the main city, but to bluff the renters, they marked the Venus Aprtment in the middle of the Kigali city, inside a circle of the main road. 2. The staff was surprised to see us, he called the owner and handed over the mobile to us to talk. The owner was surprisied hearing from us that we booked his apartment..!!! Later he checked his mail to get the confirmation, well he also asked us that, how much we have paid through the apps? Then decided which are the rooms/apartment we would be offered. 3. Staff who works there in the property doesn’t know English/French. He is a good person but helpless due to his linguistic limitation. 4. In the apps it showed that breakfast is included. But reaching to the property when we asked the staff he handed over his mobile to us to talk to the owner. The owner told us that he can't provide us breakfast because the rent projected by the Expedia apps is very less to provide us breakfast. There is no minimum standard restaurant available neareby thereby we had to remain empty stomac upto 10 am when we returned back to the city. 5. There was no electricity from 0300 hours till the time we left the apartment (at around 0945 hours). 6. The apartment is newly constructed, thereby the standard is good. But considering the above mentioned experience/nightmares we would never recommend this apartment to anyone. Regards.
