Sea Glass Inn

The place was very clean. There were friendly cats around who liked to play.

Not very close to the beach. There was only one window and it looked out at the neighbors wall. There were 4 skylight windows but they were all frosted glass and there was nothing you could see outside.

The room had everything needed for comfort.

Shower seal leaked. Also uncomfortable with Gruesome Halloween display in breakfast cottage!

The bed was very comfortable though it was a tad high for my partners short legs. The room was clean and very presentable. I found the kitchenette functional with adequate counter space, a sink, and a kuerig for making coffee. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The location was central and within walking distance to many things - the ocean, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Generally, the room was very nice and tastefully set up. But the were a few small things that I did not like. Some of the lights had a flickering/ strobing effect which was hard on the eyes. I do not like crank out windows but instead prefer sliding windows. That’s just me perhaps. There were a couple of plastic plants which i personally find tacky. I’m not a fan of fake plants especially when they take up valuable bathroom counter space. I think there could have been a couple hooks behind the bathroom door to hang clothes on. And I do hope someone tears down the derelict house next door. It was an eye sore.

We weren’t thrilled with the exact location. We thought it was closer to the water and some of the surrounding homes were not a welcomed site. But the inn itself was very nice.

Sea Glass was on a very quiet street and easy walking distance to the core of town. The host was very fast about replying to questions. We were able to cook meals although the kitchen was quite small. Showers and hot water was great did not have to wait between people showering. We enjoyed our stay and if available we would not hesitate to stay again.

The breakfast had a good assortment of snacks, pastries, and drinks. I also loved the local art and vintage clothing available for sale in the lobby.

I didn’t realize the cleaning fee was separate from the listed price so it was almost $70 more.
