So much noise. Waste money.

It’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind staying up late. It’s a historic bar and ifs there is anything going on in town that night everyone will end up at the Fairview

It was exactly as advertised. A busy pub in the centre of town. The locals were friendly and we lucked put with the band which was doing 70s vintage music. They played until 1 am as advertised and we danced along with them. Rooms basic but spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a bath in the vintage claw foot bath. Bathrooms spotless too, shared facilities no issue. Excellent value for money and an all round great experience.

Unfortunately there was a "society" wedding in town and some of the young female guests got very drunk and made a lot of noise later. Just unfortunate.

Fantastic lodging option and very affordable. The rooms are located above a very popular bar that does Karaoke night which is very fun and lively. Everytime I told people in the area I was staying at the Fairview Inn they would always ask me questions about the place because of its rich history. Be aware though that the rooms are quite small and there are shared bathrooms, but with two bathrooms you won’t have to wait long to use them and they’re cleaned every day. I highly recommend the Fairview Inn if you’re okay in a smaller space and just need a room for sleeping while enjoying what Alaska has to offer.

A quirky historical Inn complete with bar music until 2:00 AM and shared bathrooms. They did provide ear plugs. Bed was comfortable and right in the heart of Talkeetna.
