Miombo Mews

Modern, clean, spacious, comfortable beds, safe, helpful staff. Breakfast was a choice of 2 restaurants and both very good. Boxed breakfast for our safari day to Chobe was fantastic and impressive. We’ve been on other safaris with boxed breakfast, but this beats them all by a mile.

The staff was helpful offering to plan activities, but didn’t have all of the info like we needed birth certificates for our kids to Chobe in Botswana and had to turn around to get them….thankfully, the company asked us only a few minutes after leaving the apartment. They need drying racks for inside during burning season.

Very nice property. Very clean, modern, safe, comfortable. I didn't realize it came with free breakfast. They don't provide it onsite but instead provide shuttle service to and from a few local restraunts, and it's all included. We did Lookout Café and La Piazza. One morning, we had to leave early to Chobe, and they provided to-go breakfast bag (which was a banana, muffin, artificial juice, and yogurt). They set up any taxi service needs, including our initial airport transfer. I'd definitely go back.

I arranged with the front desk to be picked up from VFA airport. They said someone would be waiting with our name on a sign. When we arrived, nobody was waiting. We called Miombo Mews, and it looked like they forgot to arrange it. We waited about 30 min and somebody finally came. Other than that mixup, everything was 10/10.

Lovely modern self-contained apartment and very comfortable. A little bit out of town but still walkable to the Pick and Pay supermarket (1.7km and approx another km to the village) But if you didn't want to walk (no footpath) Fadzo will arrange a taxi for you. We opted for the breakfast included option and it was very good (choose the 'Lookout cafe' Spectacular view and great food) The apartment was clean and the staff extremely helpful. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up from the airport ($15US per person) and a sunset dinner cruise with Pure Africa (HIGHLY recommended!!) We enjoyed our stay.

Not much...maybe flannels for the bathroom and paper towels and dishcloth for the kitchen

Quality of the facilities. New and convenient appliances

The very poor attitude of service of the lady at the reception (Melissa) always showing a bad mood and closed to privide any help. I had to take a shower with cold water because the maintenance staff could not solve the issue in a quick manner. You would never expect this in a lodging that charges you more than 320 usd in a small city in Africa !

Wonderful stay with home like facilities. Friendly staff and super clean. The washing machine is a great extra if you're traveling for a long period.

The internet is not stable, yet seems to be a general problem in the area and not relating to Miombo.
