Moore House Inn & Cabins

We book this hotel because it was a pit stop on our way to Snowshoe and we were glad we did. The house was super cozy, owners were very hospitable and accommodating and we would definitely recommend it.

Very cute place. We just stayed a night before skiing at Snowshoe and it was perfect. Breakfast was simple but good.

Moore House Inn & Cabins is the perfect getaway for a peaceful and cozy retreat. The rooms are well-kept, comfortable, and have a warm, homey vibe. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle.

Had the absolute time of our lives! Beautiful setting!

The property is gorgeous, and in a beautiful mountain setting. The owners are amazing people who are dedicated to making your stay amazing. Every inch of the room and bathroom was clean. The bed is unbelievably comfortable, with clean sheets and a thick comforter that was really nice to have in the snowy winter. Really no negative aspects to the property. We used the property as a layover point on our way to Snowshoe from central Virginia. It’s about 40 minutes from Snowshoe, and directly on the route. I would highly recommend the property to everyone.

The room was warm. The shower was nice and hot, and it stayed hot the whole time. The bed was nice and soft, and I didn't get an angry note that I started bleeding. I even managed to return the key.

I wish there was a return slot in the door for the keys. Also, I think wired phones in the rooms might help us reach the front desk easier? I also thought the shower was maybe a little bit confusing to operate.
