The Davenport Inn

This is a quintessential New England Inn. It is beautifully maintained and decorated with all of the comforts you would expect from a high end hotel. Very clean, comfortable and conveniently located within walking distance to the charming Portsmouth downtown area. The free parking in the back was also a huge perk. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to others visiting the area looking to experience historic charm with modern amenities in a great location!

This is a beautiful independent boutique Inn. The restoration by the owners is spectacular. The beds, bed linens, decor, and luxe bathrooms are perfect. Have stayed there twice, will be going back again soon!

Nothing

The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed! Love that there was room to move around and the bathroom was nice and spacious too! Spotless and the furnishings were are all so special! Thoughtful cold water in the fridge upon arrival was a bonus! Dreaming of coming back!

So minor but wish the blinds were double hung so you could have privacy but still have natural light :)

It was lovely, extremely comfortable and very clean. The location couldn’t be better. Just a couple blocks from Strawberry Banke and all of the beautiful historic homes. Loved it!

Room was beautiful and layout was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Parking was easy with a designated space for each room. Loved the code idea to get into building and room! Checkout easy!
