Was my first time at a Bed n Breakfast and I was so impressed! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service and Breakfast. The purple bed was amazing! Loved it!

No mini fridge in the room

Very good - hearty, abundant. Locally made products available at the meal. Ability to purchase local products at the front desk. Appreciated the stated quiet times at the Inn (10 pm to 6 am?)

Suggestions for the proprietors as they get settled (only open a week when we stayed) - a lamp/bedtime reading light on both sides of the bed; expand the local products for use and sale at the inn, such as carpentry goods, linens or quilts, painting/art in the rooms; a monthly listing of local activities, for example, Warm Springs pools 40 minutes away, sheep shearing at nearby farm.

The breakfast was excellent. Having locally produced maple syrup for the waffles was a treat. The owners of Monterey Inn were delightful to talk to, and the staff was very attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the entire building. I would highly recommend the Monterey Inn to anyone. We had an enjoyable stay.

The only thing I missed was a cup or glass in the room.
