Upper Rock Brighton – Apartments

I love the view out of the front door. The crisp bedding. Good powerful shower & that there were lots of hooks.

The kitchen is minimal. There is only a microwave and 2 ring hob. There are no drawers or lamp in the bedroom. I also found the sofa uncomfortable. Parking nearby is also a bit tricky & expensive

Very noisy, was a building with many flats, people coming ant going at all hours, could hear people walking in above flats and taking loudly all through the night, worst nights sleep I’ve ever had, during an overnight stay. Would never re book these apartments and £170 too very poor value for mony.

The apartment is renovated, nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, nice linens, warm and welcoming. We had apartment B on the ground floor and it was airy and bright. There was no noise from outside, but it had poor soundproofing from inside (when the apartment is on the first floor, it is very busy). When needed Danny responded very quickly and somehow we solved the problem.

The only thing I would change is the kitchen stoves. Is very difficult to prepare a meal for two, even if the kitchen is very well equipped.

Location was great and quite close to where I know to park for reasonable price. The apartment was bright, and clean and on the main the sheets were spotless and comfy. Key code was easy to navigate. Good lighting plenty of mirrors and sockets.

Sofabed wasn't very comfy. No handsoap in the bathroom (which was odd since there was washing up liquid in the kitchen). It would be reasonable to expect even a tiny bar or a small bottle of handsoap for hygiene reasons. I'm allergic to fairy liquid so I couldn't use that instead and had to go and buy some to use just for a one night stay. The main gripe was that I wasn't aware that the bathroom was inside of the bedroom meaning that the people sleeping on the sofabed had to come into the bedroom to use the loo/shower. Perhaps I misread the facilities breakdown, but I could not see any information where it says the bathroom was in the bedroom - apart from one photo - and often with booking.com the photos do not always correlate with the apartment booked so cannot be taken has 100% accurate. That said I would stay again, as long as I was aware of the above, and I would not book for more than 2 people because of the bathroom situation.

Super ubytovani, cistota, vybaveni apartmanu. Moc mily hostitel. Zapomnel jsem redukci na UK do elektriny a behem chvilku mi prinesl svoji rezervni. Moc dekuji.

Snad jedinym minusem bylo to, ze jsem byl v dolnim apartmanu a pokud nekdo chodil nad vami, tak to bylo hodne slyset. A to fakt nechcete, kdyz vam tam nekdo pochoduje nad hlavou o pul jedne rano.
