the room was clean, but smelled of smoke. Kitchen facilities were clean as was the bathroom.

On arrival, my room was allocated to someone else, and therefore I had to stand in the rain and phone the company to try and gain access. The company managed to allocate me a room in another building further away. This was inconvenient, as the other building had no access to fitness equipment, which was not made clear on accepting reallocation, and was part of my reason for booking. The new location was not ideal, as, rather than be on a smaller road which I'd booked, was on a busy A-road, opposite a convenience store open long hours, with my room next to the noisy traffic light crossing.

The place was clean and recently redecorated. It has quite a big bathroom, and has a fan and ironing board available. There is an option to order food with delivery to your room which was nice (does not do any on Sundays though).

The internet speed was slightly above 1MB, which did not work for our needs. The bed was soft, but probably not big enough for us two. Also there is no kettle available unfortunately.
