El Verde Inn

Nice, clean with a relaxing view of the golf course. I love it. The service is excellent and friendly. Price is accessible. The restaurant bar next to the motel is good. We had breakfast.

Finding this property to spend the night was such a gem of a place. On a golf course, very nice views. Wesley working at the front office was very kind and personable. Temperature of room was perfect. Very unique looking inn. Very nice amenities in the room. Our only negative is that the bathroom was very small and the vent in the bathroom was extremely loud. Restaurant next door, part of the golf course was very convenient for both dinner and breakfast. Dog friendly is an additional plus! Thank you!

This hotel was such an amazing and unique place. The front desk gentleman was so nice and helpful. The room was charming with the beautiful wallpaper and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved how the windows looked out into back towards the pergola and golf course. When we woke up the next morning we watched some hot air balloons over the course. It was so peaceful and pretty. We will definitely stay there again when the chance arrives.

Our stay at El Verde was everything we needed. We were in town for an emergency vet visit for the beagle and needed a place to crash on July 4th. El Verde welcomed us thoughtfully. We spent the evening in the lovely courtyard watching the beetles and a toad. Then we turned in to a beautifully decorated room complete with robes and snacks and a clean, comfortable bed. It was comforting to find a safe stay just outside downtown near grocery stores and restaurants. I will definitely book here again should Albuquerque call me back at any point.

Cute renovated property with relaxing courtyard. Room was clean and spacious. Enjoyed live music on the grounds at the restaurant within walking distance.

Located right on the Paradise Hills golf course. The best feature is that it’s quiet and the staff is very nice, a ubiquitous feature of the New Mexico area it would seem. It’s on two floors, about 16 rooms and there’s no elevator so be prepared to carry upstairs. As has been mentioned in other reviews, there is an air conditioner located underneath the window. Given the heat of the Albuquerque area you will have to run this continuously and it is fairly noisy – I tried to tell my wife this was white noise, but she would have none of it. I would term the bathroom, fairly cramped, the towels, nice and thick and the vanity area area with good space. One thing about this particular property is that you were almost forced to live out of your suitcase. There is absolutely no drawers in the room with several hooks and only two hangers are provided so if you’re planning on a longer stay, you may want to reconsider as all your clothes and various items that you will need in the bathroom are going to end up on a counter and exposed, leading to a very cluttered experience. They do have a small coffee station downstairs, which has some syrups and I hear there’s a plan to put in a small automatic coffee making station on the second floor just above the front desk. Otherwise the coffee pods provided are pretty terrible. As has been noted by other reviews, the desk staff person is not there after 10 PM so if you are in need of anything do it before that time. I have a small lounge area that has a microwave and a nice freezer chest that has bags of ice in it for guests, a definite plus. Unfortunately, it’s the only microwave available for guest so there can be a little bit of a wait to utilize.

Amazing find!! So cute and recently renovated. Smaller property in middle of safe neighborhood on golf course. We traveled with our pets and everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again. Our favorite hotel for a weeklong trip!

Front desk staff was amazing! Super kind and helpful with me loading in a large item. Room could use a deep clean. Large ants were in the room but it is the desert after all. Front desk said they had just had the exterminator that day so they could have been on their way out.
