La Vieja Botica Bed & Breakfast

This is a hidden gem on the Great Malaga Path. Beautifully renovated old house (formerly a pharmacy). Spotlessly clean comfy bed, tea and water provided and gorgeous breakfasts. A special mention for our host Tracey. What a lovely lady.

Friendly, helpful host; great breakfast (minor point - the coffee could have been stronger); very comfortable and clean room. Canillas is small but has a few bars and restaurants and the people are very friendly.

Parking isn't easy.

Tracey is an amazing host. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point

Beautifully restored old building. Rooms had everything you need - very comfortable and clean. Tracey was a wonderful host - very generous and provided us with a lovely breakfast. Great location in the center of the village .
