The Vu Snugs

No where to wash up after eating apart from the bathroom sink, bit difficult in there. No toaster.

Amazing stay.. nice and cozy place, with peaceful and beautiful views

We liked the location, comfy bed, hot water, layout of the accommodation. The view was spectacular. Well located for Edinburgh airport. We would have liked more coffee sachets, wine glasses and information in the welcome pack about local places to eat or take aways. The TV signal was poor.

The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors and window wide open to cool it down enough to be comfortable. Missed my plans and couldn’t leave. The maintenance staff did eventually come and apologized etc. just a freak issue I think but a cleaning staff must have noticed something and it just wasn’t reported. Made for a stressful night unfortunately. Pods themselves though are very nice.

For me on a work trip this was perfect, lovely peaceful setting, like having your own little bungalow in the country.easy parking for my van various food deliveries if required.

Snugs are flawless, bigger than expected, perfectly clean, everything worked, had everything we needed. Only con is there was a function on at the main venue that went on until mid night and we could hear the ‘doof doof roof’ of the base over the tv and also sleep sounds at max volume on my phone until then, we were in the furthered away cabin.

Having received 2 emails stating check in was 2pm we were disappointed to receive email the day before arriving that it was 3pm. When we phoned to enquire about discrepancy we were told 2pm was a mistake and they refused to change it. We phoned back to complain and eventually they said they would try and have snug ready for 2pm. It was important for us because the wedding we were there to attend started at 3 pm. We were not happy we had to insist and had an uncomfortable phonecall. The snug was very nice and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The negatives were that the folded towels were still damp, the bathroom had a musty smell and the two lighted mirrors didn't work. It was also a bit annoying that the light in the bathroom was movement activated and kept going off when i was getting ready.

Extraordinaire, à faire absolument !!!

Perfect get away spot! The snug is a great home away from home. Very decently sized, the snug was spotlessly clean, there was a nice modern bathroom, had a microwave and fridge for my convenience and the bed was very comfortable. I would happily choose this over a hotel if visiting again and would recommend to anyone.
