Beech Pod Cabin in beautiful surroundings Wrexham

Lovely location with beautiful surroundings. Nice amenities in the pod, it was great having our own bathroom. Staff were friendly. The bar area was a great addition.

I feel it was missing a few finishing touches, especially when it’s stating it’s a luxury pod. There were wires on the bedroom wall where a TV should be. No bath mat for when you get out of the shower. No linen was provided for the quilt on the sofa bed (I emailed ahead to ask if I needed to bring my own but never got a response.) We did find a linen cover in the cupboard, however it had a blood stain on it, so didn’t use it. A little bit better communication before the stay would have been ideal.

Surroundings were pleasant, good facilities for a bit of fishing. Friendly staff ( mainly ) and a good atmosphere by the bar with space for children to play.

Prices at the bar a little expensive, quality and value of the food available, we paid £15 for a 9" pizza that wasn't particularly good, and £6.50 for salt and pepper chips that had no flavour at all. Luxury pod wasn't particularly clean, and the bedding even less so. Bedsheets hadn't been changed, full of stains and body hair presumably from previous guests ( possibly also a pet ) Brought to the attention of owner who was 'angry' at his cleaning staff but offered no apology for the poor cleanliness of the linen.

Nice grounds. Secluded area for privacy and cabin was a very nice size. The cafe on site had a wonderful menu at reasonable prices so no need to go off site to buy food or drinks.

The needs to be guide lights to the cabin on safety grounds. It would also be nice to have solid ground outside the cabin to park on. Wet grass means it gets chewed up.

Gorgeous little pod with all of the essentials. Lovely site and helpful staff. I think we may have been the only one's there so it was super quiet. Great location for getting into Wrexham and Chester.

Surrounding, space, luxury feeling etc

Just small things like brush would be appreciated, there is no space for drying dishes, for a price could be some burning would included and also some tools fir bbq… Customer service I would like to say should improve… didn’t really feel welcomed. On arrival had to wait another 30-40 minutes until pod was prepared for us even though it is advertised that check in from 13:00 and Ive informed that we will arrive at 16:00-17:00. When u paying over 150£ per night a little warm welcoming and some extra bits would add some value to all experience:)
