Villa Elodia by Le Duc Hotel & Villas

Our stay was absolutely perfect. All aspects surpassed our expectations. The owner is a very kind man with beneficial approach, his hospitality and professionalism are on a very high level. The housekeeper is living next to the villa and she is willing to help you during whole day. Welcome package included fruit from own orchard (located behind the villa) and a selection of local groceries. During our stay we received several times coconuts and other local fruits, it was very kind. All equipment of the villa was fully operational. Next to the villa there is a local grocery shop with all necessery goods. To hire a car is not necessary but recommended if you want to see more locations on the island. Parking is available at the villa for free. Our decision for Villa Elodia was a perfect choice.

Everything was just great. Villa has absolutely everything you need. the service is beyond praise . In addition, upon check-in, there is all necessary food for several days. Shops and good beaches are nearby. We were also lucky enough to visit the villas and the hotel of the same owner on Praslin (Le Duc) , and it was a complete delight. I sincerely recommend this place to everyone. The hospitality is excellent. Staff is great.

The villa is very nice and big

if you are looking for a private pool this is not your destination and it has no direct view to the sea .

Spacious, clean and well equipped villa - it has a jaccuzzi, a small pool, several outdoor seating areas and a garden. Nice beach just accross the street (just check the tide times). Excellent and attentive staff. We particularly appreciated the stocked fridge and fruit upon arrival. Maryanne, the caretaker, is very kind and helpful!

This property was perfect for our family! Maryann was there to provide a warm welcome and she kept the house in perfect order. She lives on-site in a separate home, always available when needed, magically replacing our sandy beach towels with freshly-washed ones each morning and then tidying up impeccably while we were out exploring the island. We arrived to find an incredibly well-stocked refrigerator with fresh fruits and snacks and a fully-equipped kitchen, including staples such as olive oil, spices, sugar, coffee.... And there is a grocery store literally next door. All 3 en-suite bedrooms have comfortable beds, quality bedding, towels and AC. There is ample indoor and outdoor space, we enjoyed our meals on the front patio by the plunge pool. I want to add a very special THANK YOU to Villa Elodia for going above and beyond as hosts - after checking in for our departing flight, we realized our daughter's iPad had been left behind. Robert responded instantly, found the iPad and arranged for the device to get to us just in time, the driver brought it to the door of the departure lounge. Nothing short of heroic, it would have been impossible to recover later. An excellent example of how Robert and his team are so very helpful and attentive!

We were incredibly comfortable at Villa Elodia and were really able to relax! Unlike the smaller islands we visited (Praslin and La Digue), it is important to have a car to really explore the island. Villa Elodia has parking for multiple cars, which is great. There is a roof deck which allows you to glimpse the ocean, and there are a few beaches in walking distance if you are without a vehicle.

Amazing stay at Villa Elodia. Incredibly helpful and responsive with all requests, fresh fruit brought everyday from the orchard behind the house, a sun roof for barbecuing, a cooking plunge pool and stunning outdoor eating area. Honestly the perfect place for a family or group of friends to use as a base on Mahe. Walking distance to Takamaka Gin distillery which was also great and a shop right next door for general supplies. All in all highly recommend!
