ININI really loved the location. It was very serene and quiet. The host and the staff ( Lawrence especially)were friendly and helpful. Also, the food was organic and delicious. Big thanks to the chef! I stayed alone for 11 days and it was quite safe.
USI had a comfortable dorm room to myself. There's a good choice for dinner, important as it's a longish walk into town. Staff is lovely, and the bonfire at night made for a nice social gathering spot.
ININWaking up to the breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga in the morning was an unforgettable experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an exceptional stay!
The road condition from Ravangla to Rinchenpong was quite rough, which made the journey a bit taxing. Also I wish there was a lift from the room to the outhouse/kitchen, as climbing up that hill was quite a task!

1. No cleaning of the room. 2. No person at the counter 70% of the time 3. Bathroom ventilation does not close which caused me to get a fever and a very bad cold during my trip 4. Our room was just below attic room so we couldn't sleep as there was too much noise all the time. The owner angela also did not do anything after we told her the issue. 5. Location of the zostel very far from Rinchenpong or pelling town 6. No proper heating in the room. A very small and inaffective heater provided on demand. 7. No wifi or electricity backup provided in such a huge fare. 8. When we reached ( during afternoon) there was no electricity or electricity backup, making us take baths during the night and I fell extremely sick which ruined my trip. 9. The food order took 1-2 hours to complete 10. No heat in the common rooms either. No cleanliness. Both common rooms open making it really cold.
INEverything! I cannot mention a single thing that I did not like about the property. Super super comfortable beds, spacious and airy dorms, hot drinking water available all the time. Amazing staff, every single one of them, Anu, Sahil, Lawrence, Binay and especially Chef! I'm an avid traveller, and I haven't come across such amazing, sweetheart of a staff! And the view from the rooms and the outpost near the space is to die for, the entire Sleeping Buddha will be visible on a clear day. And if you're an animal person, you'll have the time of your life with Charlie the catto and Hobo the doggo! Honestly, I can go on and on and on about how great my stay has been at this place, it became home for me for the 6-7nights I stayed. And I'm definitely coming back every single year now!
