Very quiet and welcoming location, not far from Camel ford for eating out and shops. The Serval cats were lovely to see, the horse loved a smooth, the tiny doggy was fierce and funny in a Christmas jumper. The hut was clean and had a microwave and air-fryer, toaster etc, we were welcomed with scones, cream, jam and a box of chocolates. Lovely place to get away to.

AUA charming ‘hut’, which was surprisingly spacious inside, made for a great stay. The friendly owner greeted me at the gate and showed me the property. I was very comfortable and really appreciated the very comfortable bed and the surprisingly large bathroom. I prefer to make some of my own meals when I travel, so the kitchen, though small was great. I arrived tired and hungry, so finding tea, coffee, scones, jam and clotted cream was amazing! Camelford is a lovely village with quite picturesque buildings and an interesting pub with a large beer garden. Thank you so much. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
AUMarion welcomed us like we were old friends & was so warm & lovely the whole time. The hut was immaculate & beautifully done with special quirks to enjoy. We looked out over green fields & could not see another house so felt like we were the only people around (which is what we wanted) but only 15 mins walk to the local pub where we spent a wonderful afternoon with locals listening to beautiful live music. Marion’s horse was so sweet & loved a rub & chat. Perfect place to retreat to after hectic days dealing with hordes of tourists in the coastal towns.

GBThe location was amazing and so peaceful. The shepherds hut had everything we needed and lots of room. It was extremely clean and there were little extra touches that made it even more special.

GBVery nice quiet location, yet near to shops and other facilities. Lovely view from the property which is very well equipped and furnished. I think a car is essential. Landlady very friendly and helpful, and lives on-site.
Wi-fi is a bit slow - but then again, it's free! Otherwise this is as near perfect as a shepherd's hut could be.
