"Perfect glamping stay"

10.0

Such a perfect stay - it’s in a truly secluded location with fab hikes nearby and a curious monastery down the road. It’s a quirky and cute cabin. The beds are comfy. We stayed with our two kids and had an old fashioned ghost story around the fire night, that they’ll remember forever. We were warmly welcomed by Bruce and one of his daughters, and with a lovely plate of fresh food. Just a perfect stay. (And there’s a private toilet, for those worried given the other reviews!) 😊

"Good"

1.0

The views were amazing. Bruce has worked hard on the wagons, and although we only saw him the once, he seemed like a nice guy. We were left some bread, olives, cheese and bacon. Which was a lovely touch.

The wagon was very cute to look at. But most of the space was taken up by a large coffee table. It was a very hot day, and the glass windows could really do with some blinds as the inside was way too hot. Not only that, the flies were a nightmare! They got into bags, food, bedding.. everywhere. The cabin hadn't been cleaned very well. My matress had sand on it that I tried cleaning off (which was no easy task) before I put my bedding on it. We were meant to stay 2 nights but left at 6 am the following morning. I have travelled to a lot of places around the world, camping, glamping etc.. this was very disappointing and one of the worst experiences.

"A gorgeous little stay in the hills."

8.0

The cabin, surrounding area and the view were all beautiful. The composting toilet was of no issue. The bed was very comfortable and the gas stove and heater worked a treat. The welcome gifts were also a nice surprise.

The shower was a slight issue. Only in the sense of how it's right outside the family trailer where there are children playing and it's only a curtain of sorts covering your dignity.

"Great oxo wagon experience"

9.0

Great secluded location. Great walks and a stream for the kids to play in

The toilet was a little bit difficult to use especially for us big guys. Could do with at least one plug socket on the wagon. But at least there's one you can use in the barn. No storage room whatsoever. Every shelf was taken with old ornaments and nick naks (clutter). The bed was comfy once in but a bit of a faff climbing in at our age above the kids bed.

Everything. Hidden gem.

The gas fire smelt like gas or something but we raised this and still used it for the days we still stayed with no issues other than the smell

Beds comfy Quiet location

Made out it had electricity, it did not. No hot running water to wash in. Toilets smelt. The waggon was full of tat and had no space
