Very chill and nice for relaxing before the hike to bromo. Very clean and friendly staff

Gorgeous and modern looking hostel at the foot of the volcano. The staff members, who are so kind and eager to help, truly made my stay here very cozy. I definitely recommend going for a walk around the hostel for there are a few traditional Indonesian houses and stunning nature right in front of the doorstep. Additionally, the food from the restaurant is good, the beds comfy, the showers hot. All in all an ideal stay for me! Previous reviews mentioned the wifi… however, i believe they recently changed their Wifi to the Starlink, which now gives you super-fast connection anywhere on the property!

The food, vibes, and staff were all amazing! When we arrived, bromo was slightly foggy, and there was a beautiful view of the mountains lightly covered in fog that greets us right at the balcony our room door was facing! At night, the other hostelers and staff made the mood lively with karaoke and chatting. We also loved the common areas and relaxing in the 2 recliner wooden chairs facing the mountains.

The pillow had a smell of dried sweat but we tried to ignore it since we were only staying for a night. There were also many mosquitoes and bugs but that is to be expected near the wilderness.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a private cabin that was very clean and offered some nice options for storing my luggage.

The place is great but the road to the place is pretty bad. You can drive there but it is very bumpy.

Such a comfortable and big bed! There are two shared bathrooms for the cabins which were very clean. And great instant hot water. The location is super calm. And the star-link wifi works perfectly. The room is small, especially since the beds are built in a tetris style to maximize the space of all four cabins.

Except for the room, there isn’t a true indoor lounge area. Everything is outside which can get chilly at night.
