Ora Resort Gili Meno

Verblijf was prima! Even stukje lopen naar de gezellige plekjes op het eiland maar het is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Personeel is lief en behulpzaam en het ontbijt is wel oké.

Het huisje is wat scheef en heeft wel wat renovatie nodig.

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach and very close to the port. The villa was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well maintained. I loved the private pool and the fact that they can bring breakfast, dinner and even massages directly to your villa, which makes the experience very relaxing and special. The staff, especially the girls at reception, were extremely kind, friendly and always willing to help quickly with anything I needed. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this place.

At first the WiFi was not working properly, but they changed the booster immediately and it worked perfectly afterwards. The hot water was also only warm at the beginning, but after informing them they fixed it very quickly and the water became very hot. The only thing I really did not like was that there were cockroaches in the villa area. I informed the staff and they said they would do a treatment, but unfortunately they appeared again the next day.

We stayed for 6 nights and then extended to 9. Everything was top. It is a peaceful hotel on the “end” of the island, which gives a feeling of privacy (not much local traffic passing by). Additionally, the hotel was not at all crowded which is a big plus for us (some other hotels were). The villa with own pool is an amazing choice - you only realize how much you needed it after you try it :) the staff is friendly and will take care of anything you need (like private airport transfer, renting a horse cart, ordering flowers, etc.) the rooms are in very good condition, clean and have everything needed. I would say, premium standard. The area is beautiful with clear water and amazing coral reef - we went snorkeling many times and EACH time saw about 2-3 turtles. The adjacent restaurant has everything you need, from western to local & fish bbq, the staff is very friendly. Overall, for that price, we haven’t seen a nicer hotel on an island.

The beach is short and rocky, but it’s usually so sunny you wouldn’t sit there anyway - sunbathing and snorkeling is better, and these are great there. It is a small wild island so obviously there will be insects coming from outside, but it’s something you have to accept when coming to meno.

Staff was absolutely great, i got welcoming drink and hot towel when arrive. Room was decorated so nice and it was very clean. Water was 3 glass bottle and minibar was great and good price. I enjoy my private villa with pool. I love it and planned to stay one night but i stayed 2. Restaurant food was amazing. Here you can really enjoy.
