The rooms are really nice with a big bathroom and good a/c. Staff were all really accommodating but

Nothing really. The location means a bit of a walk to town on the main road, but I obviously knew this when booking.

The room and the grounds were really lovely. The breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful as were reception and security. The decor was very nice and the grounds clearly well looked after.

The breakfast itself wasn’t the nicest we’ve had. To get to/from the town after sunset means walking in the dark for a fair portion of the journey, and you have to walk along the main road where the traffic speeds by very quickly.

The hotel was in an okay location (there's a path through the jungle that gets you to the beach and El Tunco town in about 10 minutes) and it was clean. The included breakfast was nice and most of the staff was nice.

The WiFi wasn't working for the majority of my stay and it's been difficult to get a partial refund for this inconvenience since there was often no one at the reception to talk to or ask questions, including when I checked out. The hotel room was nice enough but felt very basic for the price. Finally, the noise level at night was really bad. The rooms have thin glass sliding doors that aren't sealed properly, so there is no insulation whatsoever from the noise. The hotel is on a busy road with loud trucks and cars speeding by all night long, as well as roosters crowing from the neighbors.

Initially, we thought the area around it looked pretty slumish, but it is extremely safe and a short walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was noise from the road but the owner was extremely nice and a place is extremely clean and for the price was a good deal.
