Edinburgh College Residence

This is fully a dorm room. It’s serviceable for a quick stay, but it didn’t smell the freshest. The staff was extremely kind and it felt safe.

Wenn ich abgebe, dass ich als Erwachsene mit Kind reise, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit doch recht hoch, dass dieses Kind unter 18 ist! Kosten, die einfach weg sind und wir mussten uns dann spontan etwas neues suchen.

The staff is untrustworthy and unhelpful. They will not take responsibility for thievery among their staff. My partner forgot their birkenstock sandals in the room, we called less than 6 hours later to ask them to keep them for us so we could come pick them up, however, they allegedly could not find the sandals and they were mysteriously gone. When confronted about this, they refused to take any sense of accountability. SHAME. I've now also read other reviews with people having the same experience, so there seems to be an untrustworthy person among their staff and the rest just covering for them. I warn all travellers considering staying at this accommodation to find other places to stay because you are bound to have something stolen from you.

For two people the bed was too small. No close-hangers Window frame was broken. The hours to check in was limited.

La chambre était convenable, petite mais propre. C' est loin du centre mais très bien desservi. L'isolation phonique n'est pas au point.

Stay was fine, as would be expected of student accommodation. Shower was not great. Hairs in the bed.

Ok basic Clean easy access

This property is clean and provides the basics. It is not a hotel but is a college residence used in the summer for others to stay. The residence has several bus stops just a few steps out the door that will take you to the town centre and airport and numerous other areas. There is also a grocery store close by. The beds are small so if it says two can stay … it would be difficult for two people to sleep in the one bed.

Det manglet stol til skrivebord, hengere til klær i klesskapet og dobbeltsengen var 120 cm ikke 150. Rommet var også plaget av støy fra bilvei. Kjøkkenet var utrustet greit med nødvendig utstyr for matlaging.

Welcoming staff and great value for money. Easy regular transport links to city centre. No complaints based on the price oft he stays.
