We had such a wonderful stay at Hearts and Home Mijas. The property strikes the perfect balance between feeling homely and being genuinely beautiful and impressive. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and the views were absolutely amazing; the kind you never get tired of waking up to. Mariam was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host, making the whole experience feel relaxed and personal from the start. It was a lovely touch to have bubbles for us in our room at arrival. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade breakfast each morning healthy, fresh, and clearly made with care. The bed was super comfy, and overall it was just such a good, restful stay. I’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

One tiny tiny improvement would be a blind to be installed on the small window to the right of the door in our room as the lights on the patio shone in, but this is still the nicest place we have stayed when on holiday.

Läget i bergen med utsikt mot kusten. Fantastiskt trivsam atmosfär med ett välkomnande och serviceinriktat värdskap hos ägarna.

We had hired a car and found the property easy with SAT Nav. Plenty of parking spaces. The property is wonderfully located with a great outlook with the sea on the horizon. Marian and Juan are simply the best hosts, they made us feel so welcome, it was like being made to feel part of a family with their warmth and humour. Marian prepared us such a fabulous lunch board of cheese and hams together with our welcome fizz on arrival, a perfect start. A bonus to have a pool to cool off and the sun is on the balcony the whole day. Our room had a balcony with a sea view, the room is very spacious, the bed huge and comfortable as were the pillows. Immaculately clean. A very large contemporary bathroom with the most powerful shower with plenty of hot water. The decor around the whole of the house gives a feeling of warmth and serenity. A real haven of peace and quiet. Breakfast is as good as any 5* hotels we have stayed in. Loved the home made granola with fresh fruits/yoghurts/seeds and nuts. Healthy start but couldn't resist the freshly baked croissants. The breakfast omelette was one of the best we had ever eaten. Fresh orange juice too was perfect. There is nothing about Hearts and Home that I would change but for me what made it even more special was the way in which Marian and Juan made us feel, nothing was too much trouble, they were always ready for a chat and a laugh and we felt right at home. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Mijas Pueblo centre with a number of great tapas bars. Also the bus stop outside the garage is a 5 minute walk and the routes go to Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Marbella so everywhere pretty accessible if you don't have a car. Given the price of the accommodation, it could command even more in my opinion given the quality of everything that you experience. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Marian and Juan for making our first visit to Mijas so special.
