Everything about the property is just amazing, the view, the animals, the staff, everyone is so good

I did not like anything about the place. The location. The way the receptionist spoke when we travelled. The entire stay was bad.

The place lacks basic hygiene. The ketchup bottle at the restaurant had spider webs on the cap. In our room a mouse entered while we were sleeping around 5 in the morning. It fell on our bed from the ceiling. And the reception numbers are ringing but no-one picked up or came to help. Somehow we found the guard who was going to the washroom. He helped catch the mouse. Facilities like kettle which is mentioned in Booking.com was not even there. The room size was so small for the price. As soon as we checked in, the owner/receptionist was so rude, and instead of giving us any assurance he says that this place is not for family. "Don't know how booking.com let you book. This place will have loud music throughout the night, please bear with us and be kind enough not to ruin the experience for others". I regret my decision and also blame booking.com for not restricting the booking when I have added a baby in the guest option. Overpriced, overhyped, hosts lacking basic manners.

Strong positives 1. It’s a family run hotel and hosts are helpful, warm and welcoming. 2. It’s nicely built in the lap of nature.

It’s located in remote area with no connection to outside world. Closest metalled road is 2.5 kms appx. Food quality is average. Rooms were not cleaned every day.

Lots of frogs during the monsoons and rain. It’s obvious as it’s right there in the middle of the Gangavathi.
