Lovely location & Scenery, brilliant host. Spa was perfect.

Minor details - no where to hang coats or tea towel in kitchen.

The calmness/peacefulness and great location. The owners have done a brilliant job with the lodges. They’ve created a really lovely place. We’ll definitely be looking to book back up. The attentiveness of the owner is above expectations. On hand whenever you need them and popping to the properties to check on everyone.

Peaceful and relaxing with sun lounges on the deck over looking the lake. Beautifully decorated inside. Fully equipped kitchen and a gas BBQ on the deck. A bottle of wine and crisps in the kitchen was a very thoughtful and welcomed gift on arrival.

There is an aircon in the lounge area which works great, but not one in the bedroom. It got very warm in the room overnight so perhaps a fan or aircon in the bedroom for summer months. A jacuzzi / small pool at the lodges would be very a welcomed bonus.

The lodge was wonderful, clean, and in an idyllic setting overlooking the lake, a good base for exploring Visited York (30 mins) & Whitby (75 mins)
