I felt really excited when I arrived at the property. The environment and the room were very comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and gave me a strong sense of safety. Outside the room, there were adorable alpacas which made the stay even more enjoyable. Parking was also very convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend this place!

It was close enough to the main road, to find easily, and far enough to enjoy the quiet beautiful place it's located. There's enough seats for you to choose from, a bench, folding chairs and sun loungers, and a well equipped fire pit to cook burgers/chicken and whatever you want, firewood is a plenty on request, Carol and Dom are very welcoming and happy to stand and chat with you and encourage you to have a gooder time as possible, they are very invested in the guests and that is very important to me. Unfortunately I missed out on having a tour of the farm with my 8 year old son, but I'm very aware that it's a working farm and they work long hours, we saw Dom driving past us at 21:30 and again at 21:40ish last night still working. I was a bit worried about taking my 8 year old son as I thought it would be boring for him, but he loved it, we went to the town (10 min drive if that) where you can walk round the castle and take in the local culture. And a 40 minute drive to the beach (20 miles of country roads) with lovely views. I'd definitely stay there again. Thank you Dom and Carol

The only thing I didn't like was the fly's, but that's not the fault of the hosts and can be easily dealt with by a few candles or whatever fly's don't like

We had an amazing one-night stay at The Peacock Shepherds Hut at Hafoty Boeth. Carol was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the hut itself is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. The peaceful landscape and stunning views made it feel like a true escape, and the animals—especially the two cuddly goats—were an absolute delight. A perfect, cozy getaway that we would highly recommend!

The property is really cute and homely. The owner came to check on us and made sure we had everything we needed.

The kitchen is very small, which is to be expected but there’s no worktop space to prepare food before cooking. A wooden lid for the sink would fix this. Bring everything you need for the stay as there are no shops about - again not an issue if you’re prepared

Stunning setting, quiet and private, and lovely outdoor space (we had gorgeous weather!).Clearly much thought and care has gone into the decor, fittings, and creative fixtures to make the most of the space and it looks fabulous.

Just the lack of somewhere to sit other than the bed! Space is limited of course but maybe a camping chair (or 2) would provide some versatility for the indoor and outdoor space.

Beautiful location and both Carol & Don were fantastic hosts - made us feel welcome & took the time to check up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. You’re able to roam around everywhere as long as you close the gates behind you. Fell in love with Wales due to this lovely wee shepherd’s Hut. We will definitely be back - hut has all amenities you need as well as a really powerful shower which was a pleasant surprise. So peaceful and tranquil, loved the standing stones. No negatives at all - just wish our stay was longer.
