The hotels on the beach are $1K+ per night, so the White Penny Hostel location is as close to beach as you can get without having to pay as much. Incredible value and the place was clean and surprisingly the other hostellers were quite quiet, probably because there aren’t that many communal spaces in the hostel itself.

Motel Mexicana is in the vicinity, so loud music at night but I wore ear plugs to block out most of the noise except for the bass.

I like this hostel so much! It has a single king bed and is very clean. It’s only 5 minutes from the beach. Definitely will come again!
