Lighthouse Hostel & Rooms

Great location, close to central station, near parks and restaurants. Hostel provides free tea, coffee, chocolate, and fruit. Amazing facilities, helpful staff. Very clean and spacious toilets. Kitchen utensils are also provided and you can make use of the kitchen space. Very safe as you have your own private locker, keys, and codes.

The location is great, and the value for money is even better. The shared kitchen is a big + and so is the free fruit. Paldies 🩵

Good location and room and public area were clean with fruit, water, tea and coffee available. For the location compared to other places in Riga the price was good value

Room was either noisy with the window open or hot with the window closed. No staff at the property except to clean and toilets and showers are insufficient for the size of the hostel. Bed was worn out with no support in the middle and the floors creaked every time some moved around. The security was also poor with men waiting outside the security door and trying to follow me in to the hostel. Fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night. Evacuated down the stairs where a security guard turned off the alarm at the fire panel without seeming to investigate the cause. Most people in the hostel stayed in their rooms so would hate to see what would happen in a real emergency. This of course is down to personal responsibility. The building has multiple different hostels located within and there should be someone on hand at the building firstly to ensure security and secondly to ensure people are taken care of during an emergency.

La ubicación era muy buena.

Había una plaga de cucarachas en todo el alojamiento. Las encontré tanto en las zonas comunes como en la propia habitación. Fue una estancia horrorosa. Puse hasta una toalla para que no entrarán al cuarto pero ni aún así lo conseguí. Es indignante pagar por algo así!

Hostel ist in einem sehr alten Gebäude Zu wenige Toiletten (2) für alle Gäste

Genel olarak odaları rahattı. Ulaşım kolaydı. Merkeze ve havaalanına giden otobüse çok yakındı. Market, gezilecek yerlere ulaşılabilir konumdaydı.

Banyoda saçlar vardı. Oda biraz tozluydu. Temizlik açısından çok iyi görmedim.

Online check in was easy I left my backpack before check in Location

Internet was the worst, I had to spend 10 euros more for my own data. Only 1 toilet for the all hostel. The second one was out of order.
