Terrapin Hostel

I had a fantastic stay at Terrapin hostel, perfectly positioned just a short walk from the main hiking trails. The location made it easy to explore the area's stunning paths without any hassle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming for travelers like me.

The hostel was clean and incredibly welcoming, with a prime location right next to the mountains we were hiking.

This older home and its cultural interior connected with my roots in Kingfield when I worked as a forester for Dead River Timberlands in the mid-late 1960's. The wall art plus books on the Grateful Dead, you rock! I stayed here as my overnight for doing some off-trail photographic exploration in the Boundary Mountains the next day. i'll stay here again. Thanks

Our second time staying.. Nice place to stay in a pretty town

I really liked this hostel. There was a lot of really lovely little touches, like flowers, the arts, and all the amenities. The locational was lovely and the host was so king. Definitely would recommend. I felt very safe and well rested.

Great surprise when the owner welcomed us with a smile, showed us around his property and gave us good dining advices. We lived the room and breakfast options in the cozy kitchen. Overall a great experience, will stay there again.
