The Sweet Suite in the North

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr schwierig. Obwohl ich den vollen Betrag rechtzeitig bezahlt hatte, konnten wir zunächst nicht in die Unterkunft, da angeblich die Kaution noch nicht eingegangen war. Ich hatte jedoch mehrfach versucht, diese zu überweisen – die Website des Vermieters brach den Vorgang jedes Mal ab. Deshalb mussten wir abends rund zwei Stunden draußen warten und zahlreiche Telefonate führen, bis wir schließlich Zugang erhielten. Nach drei Tagen fiel dann der elektronische Schlüssel aus – erneut mussten mehrere Telefonate geführt werden, um das Problem zu lösen. Bei der Abreise wollten wir den Ersatzschlüssel an die Reinigungskraft übergeben, die jedoch gerade mit anderen Zimmern beschäftigt war. Kurz darauf erhielten wir eine Nachricht vom Vermieter, dass uns für jede 15 Minuten verspäteten Check-out nach 10 Uhr jeweils 20 $ – also insgesamt 80 $ – von der Kaution abgezogen würden. Eine solche Regelung war vorher nie erwähnt worden. Abgesehen davon war die Anlage sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Lage auch sehr gut.

Very nice place, clean and so well located in Seattle. The room is comfortable, the shared spaces gather all you would need to cook/wash cloth etc. The access is made quite easy thanks to the door codes.

Over automatic email communication making the contact not very personal and getting us lost not seeing some elements to provide. One chek-in email/message would be far sufficient and better if sent at least 24 hours before the arrival not on the D-Day. The walls between every rooms is not preventing from the sound to circulate within the building, better to anticipate with ear protections.

The place is nicely located in a calm area. The room is clean and decorated.

In the summer, nights are warm and there is only one window in the room, limiting the airflow. It was difficult to sleep because of the heat. The room offers a coffee machine but there are no cups in the room. However in the shared kitchen you can find another coffee machine and cups.

We were in town for a concert and really enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be back.

Staff was nice and area was great. Located in Capitol Hill where everything is around and a close walk/bus ride. Next to a nice park to go explore. Overall this stay was great and would book again.

It was ok

No AC and only one window could open so no airflow; stagnant air. The mattress was uncomfortable.

Muy exigente el proceso pre chekin ( exigiendo el depósito de garantía, reiterando los mensajes y una vez complementado el mismo, no enviaron los códigos de ingreso hasta último momento, ni siquiera cuando lo solicité ya que realizaba un viaje muy largo con combinaciones de avión , y mi ingreso se producía por la noche tarde ). A todo el edificio le falta protección y aislacion acústica se escucha todo. La habitación es muy luminosa , toda una pared practicamente de vidrio y otra todo el tercio superior , con cortinas que dejan pasar la luz y como en esta época del año amanece a las 5:00 en Seattle , era imposible poder dormir, se tendría que poner una doble cortina tipo black up. Por esto mismo también la habitación es muy calurosa ( no tiene aire acondicionado, solo un pequeño ventilador ), por suerte en esta epoca del año la temperatura no supera los 22 grados. En el periodo que estuvimos, cada vez que queriamos utilizar las instalaciones de la cocina, la encontrabamos bastante sucia( restos de comida en la bacha, utensillos mal lavados ), por supuesto ne es responsabilidad de los propietarios , pero se podria ver de aplicar alguna metologia para resolver esta situacion.

It is hard to get a good night's sleep here The bathrooms (in the hall, not in the room) have squeaky doors, so squeaky that you can hear throughout the house. The shades on the windows are low priced and do not block out light. I know it's a "hostel", but for $150 a night, I expect a dark, quiet room. I didn't get either.

Location is decent - it has few nice coffee shops and restaurants in 5-10 minute radius, but in general the hotel is in nice quite area of Seattle.

Hotel has extremely thin walls - I could hear person from upstairs snoring as if they were in my room. Hotel cleaning stuff also listen to music on the speaker while working, and you can hear them very well even if they are cleaning on a different floor. This feels simply unprofessional and not respectful to guests. Windows in the hotel have very light cover, and room gets very sunny at 5 AM, also disturbing the sleep. Also note that hotel has at least 4 floors and there is no elevator.
