1 Bedroom Apartment / Central / Tórshavn

Virkelig dejlig lille ny istandsat lejlighed med super beliggenhed. Indrettet med soveværelse, stue og et lille badeværelse. Vi have 3 overnatninger på færøerne i forbindelse med færgerejse til island. Lejligheden ligger lige ved havnen, og var perfekt base for vores udflugter. Eneste opmærksomhedspunkt er parkering. Om natten holdt vi i gaden lige foran huset. Her er 30min parkering men ikke mellem 18 og 09. Så hvis man ikke kom afsted før kl 9, måtte man flytte bilen til den store p-plads på havnen 3 minutters gang fra lejligningen indtil afgang. Her er 8 timers parkering fra 8-18.

Pæn og ren lejlighed centralt placeret og med de daglige fornødenheder. Lidt problemer med det varme vand i badet og så var afløbet stoppet. Alt i alt et fint sted men kommunikationen kunne have været meget bedre. Skal man fx medbringe sengetøj og håndklæder? Håndklæder var annonceret men manglede ved ankomst. Til gengæld var der sengetøj som der ikke stod noget om. Den annoncerede parkeringsplads var ikke tilgængelig så vi måtte holde på den store p-plads på havnen. Det var heldigvis lige ved siden af så det var kun irriterende at skulle transportere kufferter den ekstra afstand ved ankomst og afrejse

The location was just perfect, dead central in town. The place was warm and clean and everything we needed was there, would stay here again.

Some maintenance issues in the bathroom could be addressed, the plug mechanism to lift the plug was broken and the light above the mirror and the extract fan were not working. These i targeted with our stay but would be better if fixed. Some information about the parking would have been useful.

Nice little Appartment in the centre of town, Keylock worked well, strong Wifi, good communication.

Parking on the street was sometimes full, but there was free parking nearby. The Apartment was a little humid and the hallway outside smelled horribly.

The only good thing about this place is the location

We arrived late at night (let the host know), but still did not get clear instructions how to find the key box, took a while to find the right one as there were several of them in different spots. At 12.30 am this was very confusing Bed is small for 2 people, and we are not large persons, shower and bathroom very small and uncomfortable too. Appartment is not cosy for several days stay (we stayed 4 nights) The smell in the house where apppartment is located is awful, no smell in the flat, but to get to it you should not breath in the main hall of the building We were asked to clean everything after ourselves - sheets, towels, wash dishes (no dishwasher), wipe the table BUT we still have to pay the cleaning fee!!! Pretty high fee! Very strange attitude to guests, not saying to leave a mess in the place, of course not but cleaning when you pay for cleaning this is ridiculous Overall the place is overvalued, did not like it and will not recommend it further
