Baillie Chalet on Reelig Estate

We had a super weekend, after a busy day exploring coming back to such a peaceful location was brilliant. The chalet was in a good location, short drive to Inverness and and on good roads. The directions given were very clear and we found it with no problems at all. On arrival it was such a nice touch to have coffee, tea and milk. We felt very comfortable from the off. We ventured to the woodland for a few walks on Sunday after discovering just how close it was. Autumn colours were spectacular

Only downside was the lack of signal. It had its pros as it was a truly tech free weekend but did make it more difficult to search for postcodes etc for outings and to keep family updated on our adventures. I didn’t have enough signal to be able to phone home which was a shame. We had a big storm forecast (which thankfully came to nothing) so felt a bit uneasy being cut off and struggling to check on flights

The privacy, the green around, the quiet, the place and location are amazing for a relaxing a couple of days. Well equipped with everything you need.

No WiFi. That's an important factor for people travelling from abroad.

Was terribly misrepresented in the Expedia listing, which mentioned TWICE that it had TWO bathrooms but instead only ended up being one, and there is no washer and dryer - only a washer and a line dryer in the yard getting wet with the storms. The immersion shower appeared to be wired incorrectly - in order to obtain the desired temperature, the pressure went down to a trickle. And with no WiFi provided, communication was tedious at best when it came to conveying our concerns. The excuses ranged from "it's listed correctly on ______" (not Expedia) to "we want you to enjoy the chalet as a getaway without distraction". I am retired and disabled, with various attachments that need to be tethered to my health care provider in order to maintain my health. While I take full responsibility for that oversight, it's 2024 and really no good reason for anyone to NOT have WiFi. As of this writing, this listing has since been corrected, but too late for my stay.

Wonderful place but beds were more like box springs. Other than that great place

place very private(zero noises), place very clean, very comfortable beds, magnificent location, next to the tallest trees I ever seen in my life, nice short trails you can do, perfect place for a family or even couples, definitely if I will have the chance will come back, thank you!

I have just "likes" of this property to say and I know what I'm saying as I am usually very pretentious about this.
